Pakistan Housing Authority working under the Ministry of Housing and Works Govt of Pakistan had a project of 216 Residential apartments at Nasapa Payan Charsadda Road, Peshawar constructed under the Prime Minster Housing Scheme 1999 with the following salient features.
PHA (F) sold these flats to the Govt of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in bulk at a total cost of Rs. 91.00 million. According to the Sale Agreement the PHA (F) was required to handover the flats completed in all respects including infrastructure facilities within one year of the down payment i.e. 06-03-2006. But the PHA (F) could not complete the work and remained abandoned. The Provincial Government has decided to take over the flats on “as is where basis is” and complete it through PHA (P). The project has taken over on as it is basis and PHA (P) processing the formality to start the work. Later on the Revised PC-I amounting to Rs. 258.551 (M) was approved by the PDWP in its meeting held on 19/09/2012. Now the project has been completed and handed over to Social Welfare Department.
